We started with LoRa as the natural result of IBM Research center in Zürich. Our idea was to build the first mobile LPWAN network in our country and in the whole CEE region in fact. After our discussion with T-mobile (they provided us with the network of pylons for our base stations), we decided to use a different technology – Sigfox. And we successfully build the first nationwide network!

But the future was heading to a different technology. After 2016, when the 5G LowPower standards (NB-IoT and LTE-M) were specified and published, it was clear that mobile operators will rule the LPWAN market. We were one of the pioneers in NB-IoT deployment in Europe back in 2017.

Together with Vodafone Global, we were able to offer our services nationwide (99,8% coverage) and also other European countries, based on their NB-IoT networks rollout, became our home market. Interconnection with other operators e.g. T-mobile Group, AT&T, Telia, Telefónica, A1 was a natural way of our expansion to other countries and continents. Today, our service is available via almost every NB-IoT/LTE-M network in the World!
